Luxury Serums Worth Your Money
In a world full of serums claiming to make dramatic changes to your skin, for a range of prices - it can be hard to navigate and decide which is actually worth your hard earned money.
I’ll be the first to say, you should be investing your money in the serum stage - as they should be supercharged with ingredients to address your skin concern; and they’re designed to be absorbed by the skin. So, it is really important that you know why you’re buying a serum and if it’s worth it!
Thankfully, I’m your skincare guinea pig and have had the pleasure (mostly) of testing a large percentage of serums on the market; here’s my run down of which are actually worth your money.
AG has been that girl for many years now due to its unique formulation.
Not only will this brighten dulled complexion, it’s packed full with Hyaluronic Acid locking moisture deep into the skin dermis.
It will leave your skin plump and hydrated and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Totally worth the hype.
it’s the science for me, and you truly get that with Shiseido. This is up there with my most expensive skincare products I’ve been gifted and repurchased with my own money - I think that it in itself is a testament to the quality of this duo.
It’s a two phase process, the night serum used patented technology to shrink down the size of hyaluronic acid molecules previously too large to penetrate the skin dermis - by the morning it’s deep in the skin, so when you use the morning serum it expands them to give a plump “skin filler” effect. It’s honestly brilliant technology and skincare, well worth it (and yes, get it on discount)
-I honestly wish I knew more about the science behind this product (Hi CDP team, I’m keen to do lab visits!), but I can tell you about how it feels and the ingredients!
Powered by three types of algae, the serum helps to repair and renew your skin.
